  Where the Trees Stood in Water  is site-specific installation of 5 blueprints responding to the history of Toronto’s Entertainment district. The project traces the changes that have occurred in this specific neighbourhood since colonial rule.

Where the Trees Stood in Water is site-specific installation of 5 blueprints responding to the history of Toronto’s Entertainment district. The project traces the changes that have occurred in this specific neighbourhood since colonial rule. Each blueprint is accompanied by a historical document pertaining to a character from that time period in order to playfully examine the processes of colonization, industrialization and the shifts of transient bodies affected by it.

This project is a Bambitchell collaboration and has been displayed at the Soho Lobby Gallery, The Gladstone Hotel and the Campbell House in Toronto, Canada.
